We have tried to anticipate and answer many questions. If you need information that is not addressed in these FAQs, please contact us so that we can provide you with the information you need to make your stay in Puerto Rico an enjoyable one.

Are you open all year?

Yes. We can have guests throughout the year.

Do you have a minimum age for renters?

Yes. The guest signing the rental agreement must be 25 years of age and provide a legible copy of his/her valid driver’s license. Guests under 21 years old should be accompanied by his/her guardian.

How will I find my way from the airport to Luquillo Hidden Oasis?

After you make your final payment, we will email you our Concierge Booklet. It has important information about our rental and the specific driving directions.

How will I get access to the vacation rental?

We have self check-in. Before your arrival, we will send to your booking email address the instructions and code to the apartment´s lock box.

Can I get an early check-in or a late check-out?

An early check-in or a late check-out may be possible depending on the departure and arrival times of guests with reservations before or after yours. We need adequate time to clean and prep the unit between guests.

How much of a deposit is required to hold my reservation?

A 25% of the Rental Fee is due upon signing the Vacation Rental Agreement to hold your reservation. Deposit and booking will only be accepted when accompanied by a signed Vacation Rental Agreement.

When is the final payment due?

The balance of the Rental Fee is due in full 14 days prior to arrival (unless paying with personal check, which is due at least 30 days prior to arrival).

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept credit cards, personal checks (30+ days prior to arrival), money orders, or manager’s checks. All funds must be in US dollars.

Do you take personal checks?

We accept personal checks provided we receive them at least 30 days prior to your arrival.

What do I need to do to get my Security Deposit returned? When will it be returned?

The rental needs to be left tidy, in good order, with no damage. We provide supplies for light cleaning—vacuum, mop/bucket, broom/dustpan, and all purpose cleaners. Upon check-out, we will inspect the property and refund your deposit within one (1) week of departure provided there is no damage.

What is your cancellation policy?

If you wish to cancel your reservation, we will refund 100% if canceled with more than 30 days before the check-in date and 50% if canceled with more than 14 days before the check-in date. However, there are no refunds for early departures and “no shows”.

I need to go grocery shopping. Are there food stores nearby?

Yes. Once you are at Luquillo Hidden Oasis, it is a short drive to Plaza de Oriente Shopping Center; where you will find a supermarket, a pharmacy, a gas station, and fast food restaurants.

Is the property handicapped accessible?

No. Neither the building nor the apartment is handicapped accessible. The apartment is only reachable through stairs and there is no elevator.
